Decide which output you need

An LV PDF is useful when a construction business wants to share a readable working state. If the client requires a structured GAEB offer return, a PDF alone is not enough.

The standalone GAEB editor opens X83 and D83, lets you add item prices and company details, and creates a PDF. A supported and fully checked state can also produce the source-matched offer return: D84 from D83 or X84 from X83. Follow the output notices and the recipient's requirements.

Step 1: Open the original and add prices

Sign in and select the original X83 or D83. Compare headings, references, descriptions, quantities and units, including the start and end of the bill. An import error is not solved by renaming the file; investigate the stated reason.

Enter net unit prices for the tendered units. Do not put a lump total into a square-metre unit-price cell. The X83 worked example explains the calculation. If a supplier price is still unknown, leave it blank rather than entering zero. Missing and zero prices have different meanings.

Step 2: Check company details and logo

Enter the company name, full address, postcode, city, country and contact email, and upload the company's logo. These details are required before the individual purchase and apply to this document. Check they identify the business actually sharing the working state.

Step 3: Review the summary, billing address and payment

Check the saved prices, unfinished items and billing address. Read the checkout details before confirming an order. This separate product is for businesses and commercial users and does not require a Hassolux subscription.

Unlocking applies to this imported document. Later price changes and repeated PDF downloads of the same document do not require another individual purchase. Another document is unlocked separately.

Read the downloaded PDF

Open the actual file. Check company details, section order, sample line totals and clear missing-price labels. Downloading does not email a customer or submit an offer. Choose the intended recipient and delivery route yourself.
